The combination of pandemic isolation, long Minnesota winters, and joy of fashion, inspired me to begin sewing apparel. All garments are original, with locally sourced textiles.
Saint Paul Votes was a kinetic sculpture, celebrating the importance of local elections and the historic and moderne Saint Paul City Hall. City department budgets radiated from a seven pointed star, representing Saint Paul's 7 Ward elections. A website also contained non-partisan resources on all the City Council and School Board candidates so that voters could make informed decisions in the 2023 election. During its 4 month run, Saint Paul Votes has more than 200 uniques visitors to the webpage. Saint Paul votes was on display (Sep. - Dec. 2023) at the Smallest Museum in Saint Paul at the entrance to Workhorse Coffee Bar, located 2399 University Ave West, near the Corner of Raymond Avenue.
