When the pandemic caused Twin Cities Pride to be cancelled in 2020, we took the parade into our own hands. An antique fire truck carried queers across the Twin Cities to celebrate love, authenticity, and pride. Special thanks to the House of Thune.
The combination of pandemic isolation, long Minnesota winters, and joy of fashion, inspired me to begin sewing apparel. All garments are original, with locally sourced textiles.
Located at the Smallest Museum in Saint Paul, Saint Paul Votes is a kinetic sculpture, celebrating the historic and moderne Saint Paul City Hall, with department budgets radiating from a seven pointed star, representing Saint Paul's 7 Ward elections. The website also contains non-partisan resources on all the City Council and School Board candidates so that voter can make informed decisions. View Saint Paul Votes at the entrance to Workhorse Coffee Bar, located 2399 University Ave West, near the Corner of Raymond Avenue. The artwork is accessible and illuminated 24/7, displayed from September through December of 2023.
