Adam Yust is a former legislative aide to Saint Paul Councilmember Chris Tolbert. From 2021 through 2023, he legislated on the third floor of City Hall and helped the constituents of the Highland Park & Macalester Groveland neighborhoods of Saint Paul.
Yust previously worked in alumni relations at the University of Minnesota and sprinted through the halls of Congress as a staff member in the United State Senate. Past experiences include working for national nonprofits, local foundations, and transportation policy reforms. Yust also facilitated a successful Kickstarter campaign for Waldmann Brewery.
Calling Minnesota home, Yust embraces all four seasons of the year from the Twin Cities to Grand Marais - and beyond. In Yust's spare time, he can be found tending to his backyard chickens, visiting the farmers' market, creating apparel, or hiking in the bluffs along the Mississippi River.
An active community member, Yust serves on the board and development committee for Theater Latte Da and previously served on the boards of Minnesota Rising, Fort Road Federation, and Community Reporter. In addition to volunteering for local nonprofits, Yust has been featured on PBS, KSTP, Buzzfeed, Pioneer Press, Star Tribune, and is an alumnus of the Saint Paul Chamber's Leadership Saint Paul program.
